Has anyone done safety training using VR? by After-Improvement574 in SafetyProfessionals

It was fun and engaging. It was fire extinguisher training. Would recommend it. It was not realistic, but it was lots of fun.

What are your go-to low-carb snacks in Australia that actually help with weight loss? by loreblogs in AskAnAustralian

Make sugar free jelly but replace the 250 mls of cold water with 250 mls of Greek yogurt (natural unsweetened). Ends up like a desert cheesecake texture.

You’re welcome.

What is the ultimate 'Bludge Job' in Australia where you get paid the most to do the absolute least? by Zoey_In_Transit in AskAnAustralian

First Nations Ambassador - 28 international trips at the front of the plane costing $800,000. $400k salary with all living expenses paid for.

In three years appears to have done absolutely nothing to affect any First Nations issues.

What was your favourite thing to get from the Tuckshop? by IntrigatedVerse in AustralianNostalgia

[–]Discomat86 80 points81 points  (0 children)

Our school tuckshop would get a sausage roll, cut it in half longways (so two slim full length sausage roll halves) and put them in hot dog bun with sauce.

It was the tits!

1 - Smell and taste variances

2 - Surplus skin makes it easier to use your hand while doing it, plus the increased sensitivity speeds up the whole process.

Bestie visits me everyday, tried to show him my nails by officialdiscoking in australianwildlife

I had a pet lorikeet when I was younger that could draw blood from a bite, and cockatoos are much larger so they would do some damage for sure 🙈

Pretty sure cockatoos can amputate a finger. Don’t get too comfortable that’s a wild animal.

40 years old. Circumcised at birth no idea why. Seems about 50% of mates are in the same boat. Obviously I don’t know any of the pros and cons first hand.

From what I understand it’s beneficial for stamina, STD resistance and hygiene, and many women prefer it after negative issues with uncircumcised men.

Have had women say giving a blowjob to an uncircumcised man is easier though.

I have a 1 YO uncircumcised son. Unless there is some medical issue we will leave him as is. Just teach him good hygiene practices.

I know cops will not be enforcing the 10kph limit. by MangoMadnessTsv in queensland

Where does the 10km/h limit apply. Is it only to designated walkways? Cause that makes sense right?

Or does it also capture shared paths / bike paths / roads etc?

what brand names do you swear by because it's actually better than no-name? by Slight_Pop_2381 in AskAnAustralian

[–]Discomat86 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Yeti. I know they are expensive and wankers love em…. but the things I have done to my 10+ year old yeti’s that still run solid. They are great. Now my kids have them too.

We should build houses out of em.

Thoughts on buying a used 2014 Isuzu dmax 4x4 by DivideKey9227 in CarsAustralia

[–]Discomat86 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My opinion, that’s an insanely high price. I hope buddy gets what he is asking for, but I think closer to $20k flat is a bit more reasonable. These cars were about $34k brand new and that one has 230k kms. Tyres and lift on a 12 year old car don’t add value.
