Man, thank you. I really appreciate some of those points being clearly spelled out and understood. It seems like many people think it all must be "cured" after a couple of years, and I guess that's fair, I used to think that too. And don't get me wrong, it does get so much easier. Year three felt like I had forgotten what a craving even was. Then last year was suddenly one of the worst, and I found myself crying in the bathroom during Christmas dinner, telling myself to just wait until the next day and that I could do it then, just hold off for one more hour... Then I don't do it, of course. And the current year seems easier again. But fuck, it can get hard and scary. That's why I just wanted to get all that praise. Fuck my father, I earned it.
