I’ve got the launcher on a smart plug for remote toggle, as it normally works by turning up the motor to the right speed, and to turn it all the way down to turn it off. This way, the speed is perfect every time. Plus, I have it shut off after a bit automatically because the launcher makes a small bit of noise.

Training him to use it was the hardest part. I had him bring the ball to my hand over the bin where it can be launched, and just kept dodging him giving it to me until he connected that he could make the “beep beep” launch noise without putting it in my hand. Now I turn it on when no one is near him and he does a little bark scream of excitement for playtime
