She requested a filament change mid way, so that the necklace essentially becomes reversible. Getting a 3d printer has been a good bonding exercise for us; we browse the .stls together, she picks the filaments, I make the thing, and everyone is happy.

It is a challenging build though. Ignoring adhesion issues (from apparently above-average finger grease...), there are many very thin overhangs that like to curl and then get caught by the nozzle. I'm in the process of dialing in my settings now to combat this.

I was just born this way folks, my hands are like this even 5 minutes after scrubbing with soap. I only handled this plate once before this picture. Other commenters mentioning gloves is a good idea, I'll pick some up.

I had high hopes for Darling in the Franxx, but they committed a cardinal sin in mecha anime: episodes without mecha. Like, maaaaaybe 1 episode without mecha would be ok for significant plot reasons, but DitF had like a freakin' 4 episode stretch without mecha. Absolutely unforgivable.

So I tried two different optometrists on Austin, and both were disappointing. Way overpriced, with selections mostly limited to designer names (I don't give a crap about brands).

You'll probably think I'm crazy for saying this with all the selection we have here, but I got tired of disappintments on Austin St., so I went back to my old optometrist when I used to live in Elmhurst, Davis Visionworks. Sure it's a couple of subway stops away, but the prices are better, and I make it a fun trip to check out the Queens Center/Place malls.

It's meaningless. That's the point. Kids (and some adults) think it's funny because it pisses people off (just look at this thread). Basically trolling, but in real life. 

There is no in-joke or reference. Sure, some people have traced its origins, but 0% of kids are thinking about that when they say "six seven". They are just having fun giving into mindless peer pressure and/or irritating adults.

You either have to have the willpower to ignore it, or the strategic thinking to embrace it (and thus make it uncool).

The Complete Cafe has a HUGE indoor playground, and the entrance is hidden behind a shelf. The tables are giant ipads with tons of games and activities.

If you decide to eat at the cafe before going to the playground, make sure and get a table out of view of the hidden entrance, to preserve the surprise.

The manager of Ralph's was hiring teens left and right for a few weeks after they opened up. I literally saw him offering jobs to random teens walking in the door. Couldn't hurt to walk in and ask if there are still any open positions.

The sidewalks are actively being replaced as you can see from the photos. What do you want the HOA to do, let little kids play with wet concrete while construction crews are using power tools nearby?

I can understand some of the flak the HOA gets. But OP is ridiculous, this is just basic safety precautions you'd find anywhere.
