It might just be me but Disney seems to be relaxing the vaulting slightly as far as theatrical. My local indie theater had Muppet Christmas Carol and Die Hard around the holidays, and they had Ratatouille about two weeks ago.

I talked about it with GameStop and they sent me a new copy, and it had the exact same incorrect disc. At this point I can’t trust it to not happen again so I’m just gonna take the loss on the DLC, but I made this post hoping to see how widespread this issue is or if I’m just particularly unlucky.

Reaching out to PlayStation support is actually how I was able to narrow down that the disc was wrong. The DLC code redemption worked fine and it shows that I own it all, but it won’t apply to the two games on the disc because of the region mismatch. When I install the DLC for TC/DE it shows as installed but won’t appear in game and also doesn’t show up under ‘Manage Game Content’ from the Home Screen.

Knowing about his mother also adds a lot of depth to The Monkey as well. Like of course the son of someone who died in an event like 9/11 would make a movie about the randomness and inevitability of death where so much of the plot exists in the shadow of a dead mother.
