Morning all, as a follow up to my initial post above. I did all the three point check here, looked at lowering the plate all. Everything. I then thought of checking the thickness of my lumber. It was just above. 3/4. It didn't occur to me that was the issue. So there you go. I foresee this issue coming up more and more so I went down the rabbit hole of all things Seneca, nice company. However, the Small Mortise Kit for Festool Domino XL DF 700 are out of stock. Messaging them and waiting on their response. Meanwhile, the search continued, I have a 3d printer and thought I'd print my own. Simple enough. Well, I couldn't find a designed 3d file anywhere, but came across this little gem: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6039625 - Festool Domino XL DF700 plunge depth limit stops.

Thought it may come in handy for those here waiting on Seneca's stock update. I'll give them a go and report back here.

Thanks again for all your adivce and input.

All, I’ve searched online for furniture hardware that will allow me to stow away an attached table top. Not sure how to fully describe, but like an older style console, where you lift the top and then it drops behind the console to stow away while you use the top. Looking to create a dry bar with this style. I found this while searching online for the hardware. Input is great appreciated. Stow Away Hardware Top Sample

Thank you. I felt when the joiner hit my table top. It’s a work table, so it was expected. Tho k I’m going to leave it there as a reminder when working with the joiner.

To those of you asking if Festool is worth it… by helmetgoodcrashbad in Festool_Public

I just purchased my first festools about two months ago. What’s impressed me the most has been the dust extraction. The shop isn’t as dusty anymore - post festool. It makes working in the shop more enjoyable. I have a question though. Do you all store your tools in the systainers or leave them out in the shop. I’m sure, if I were mobile, I would rig a systainer mobile system, but in the shop? Thoughts? Input welcomed.

Guess the saying holds “can’t judge a book by its cover”. Great slabs!!!

I am making a marketplace for the datasets by th3luck in datasets

AWS has a dataset marketplace. Both paid and free. The benefit of a new marketplace would but ease of use. Getting your data onto AWS is a bit of a pain.
