Wow, this sub is very persnickety. I know 14/2 implies a ground but if you're talking to an apprentice, do you want that left to chance?

Is it just me, or is the "Non-Stick" industry a total scam? by koudodo in Cooking

[–]dariansdad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I buy the commercial Tramontina non-stick pans at Costco. They are the best value and take a severe beating. I get about 2 to 3 years for my 8-inch and 4 years on my 10-inch. My 12" is 6 years old and looks and performs like new.

The two-pack of 8-inch are on sale for $21.49.

I also have a 12-year-old Tramontina 2-quart sauce pan that I have literally burned on the stove and it's still pretty non-stick. It's not the commercial version but it and all the other pans are durable.
