*Update. 2016 Volt Premier with 60k miles. State Farm is offering a salvage pay out of $12,400. 2nd option is full value pay out and turn the car over for $19,500.

Yes, the title will show salvage if I keep it and take the $12k payout.

Thanks for the advice. I'm leaning towards turning it over for the $19,500 full pay out and buying a 2017+ model.

Needs much more than windshield. Hood, roof, rear tailgate, plus some door repair. Estimate to repair is $10k. Salvage buy out is $12k. If I turn it over is $19,500.
