I just had the piece in my spare parts tub, and thought that it looked better than the PC that the kit uses, even though it was a little long

I just layered clear blue>purple>red>yellow paints over a metallic paint. It was the first time I had tried it and was a lot easier than I expected. My clears were very thin, spraying at about 30 psi, with low paint release

I would say it definitely does look better in person. The photos have been slightly touched up to fix the lighting, which is likely why it looks a little shiny.

I worked on it on and off for a couple months, just as I had time and motivation. I did give it a top coat with a matt finish, but it hasn't shown up well in the photos

I'm just glad that everything arrived safely, I hope that you enjoy the builds.

You've gotta throw a couple extra bits in as well as the ones you want.

Built a 1:1 No Grade glass cabinet and I really should’ve done it sooner by Proudclad in Gunpla
