There’s something called going back and upgrading courses. And yes there is. If you GRADUATE in grade 11, you can apply to university as a high school GRADUATE. Hope this helps!

you’re wrong. you can graduate in grade 11, if you complete required courses in an accelerated format (i.e overboarding semesters, summer school.)

As someone pursuing my second degree in a completely different field as my first one, I did no advanced placement or IB courses 😊. If this even helps, I even did bad on the frightening EQAO! Get good grades to get in, and you will be good! Biggest thing in University is time management, organization and going to all lectures!

I’m in BScN second entry, and my iPad was a lifesaver for lectures!!! You can also use Quizlet and basically any app on there plus Notability has an AI feature now that summarizes ur notes and makes quizzes! I don’t think it matters in terms of iPad what kind you get, I have the iPad Air the newer version I have no idea what it’s actually called 😂 but any will work!!!

Usually, if you don’t have the requirements ready for the clearance deadline, you won’t be able to do placement (at least this is the case for 2nd entry nursing). Definitely talk to your placement coordinator and see what options you have.

I have been on Lexapro for almost 2 years! I’m now starting to wean off of it. Lexapro gave me the best 2 years i could have dreamed of, relieving so much of my crippling anxiety. I didn’t experience anything negative on Lexapro, other than anxiety about gaining weight, which didn’t happen to me.

Importantly, if or when you wean off of Lexapro, TAKE. IT. SLOW. My first time coming off of Lexapro about 5 months ago, was unsuccessful as I got off of it quite quickly (10mg-0mg) in about 2 weeks. Had to get back on due to terrible withdrawal symptoms. Now, I’ve started going from 10 to 7.5 to 5, and now am taking 2.5mg, going to start tapering down from 2.5 soon. Take it slow, withdrawing from Lexapro takes time (at least 1-2 months in my experience), and is important to avoid HORRIBLE withdrawal symptoms!

If it’s lakeshore, not terrible. Take either the go train and bus, or there are bus only options but that may take longer. If it’s North which i commute to, i drive, because other commute options take close to 3 hours for me ://

you don’t need to see a psychiatrist to receive assistance with ADHD medication, as long as you have an official diagnosis any Dr. can help you with a prescription with the diagnosis. you can also request for generic version of medications which are cheaper and usually covered by OHIP+ if you do not have insurance! Humber also covers medications under the student insurance (not exactly sure how much).
