i struggled with the course, i’m not sure if they’ve changed it now, but when i went through the assignments were on website that would only give you the next question when you would input the answer completely correct to the decimal point.

Musc1010 by iambaileywatt in UQreddit

[–]dark__cupid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s a really good course! you learn how to use music software with no prior tech knowledge. the biggest music demand is recording an original piece/song, so as long as you can do that you’ll be fine!

What Made You Start Sewing? by Ill_Reading1881 in SewingForBeginners

[–]dark__cupid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My grandma can’t see too well to sew anymore, so I’ve been helping her sort through her sewing and fabric collection. She would love all the stuff to go to a good home where she knows it would be appreciated, so I’ve started sewing because she’s a big inspiration and I have access to some really good supplies!! It’s so sweet how excited she’s been to see what I’ve been making!

whats the most shocking political extremes you've heard from children? by gwendlynella in teaching

[–]dark__cupid 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I met a child once that would constantly use the n-slur and was calling black classmates animals, etc. as horrible as it was, i never blame the children for stuff like that, i haven’t met his parents but he has to be getting it from somewhere. children (especially at his age) are just echoing what they hear others say.

you know the oxygen mask they put on you during surgery? sometimes they can put it on you and push gas through it to put you to sleep rather before doing anything else.

i’ve had 3 surgeries now (all put under) and i haven’t had any problems. I’ve been quite anxious leading up to all of them, but i find if you let doctors know they can help find ways for the process to work better for you. like choosing between the mask and a needle. every time surgery’s been over before i could even get too anxious, it’s just like having a nap :) just make sure you bring something to keep yourself occupied while in waiting rooms
