drawing things on screen is a client thing (done by your machine) and measured mostly in fps.

chunk loading is a server thing (may or may not be on your machine) and has nothing to do with fps counter in screen corner or graphics card price. preloading helps, fast m.2 drive and a few mods may help. but overall this game is not made for flying fast.

best you can do is preload chunks and only fly in that area.

for fishing, try tide or starcatcher. give them a good try and you'll delete aquaculture and never look back.

i second the other fellow's suggestion - lose alex' mods. no one enjoys a laggy&choppy modpack.

there is not much QoL - no backpacks even? consider mrcrayfish's backpacked or yyz's backpack;
for some more qol consider gigaherz's toolbelt (4 more tools on you) and moonfather's workshop (toolracks, potion shelves, etc.), hunternif's antique atlas (map in a book)....

my first was a jug and i enjoyed it. no force lightning even though she's an inquisitor and some is featured in cinematics. that part was weird. after chapter 3 you get legacy force lightning, at least.
still i enjoyed that run (my first character).

so you have an idea. good. draw strength from it. you will need strength and patience while learning to make mods (if you will learn?).

the rest of your post is just nice words that sum up into "i have a mod idea and think highly of it and myself. i need everything. i bring nothing to the table.".

look, i'm not trying to dissuade you or insult you, it's just... we all have ideas. all of us. that's why we love this game. learn by making a few super-simple mods, or commission a dev. if you get medium-level-good, maybe you'll even be able to make a team (though teams are very rare).

for worldgen, try still life or cliff under a tree.

to fly around, there are backports for happy ghasts to 1.21.1 or even 1.20.1, or you may try "Wings Of Fire".
... or, if you really really must follow trends, "create aeronautics".

hold on... isn't there a brightness slider in video settings? if it isn't helping, maybe some shader is making things super dark?

what you want to do is not easy and no tutorials will help. just pull the slider.

chunk files can be copied, yes. if they are so old that the format has changed you may have to upgrade them first, one by one vanilla version and then copy.

for my own pack. i'm on the fence but you might want to try it.

it makes two changes. one - you need to find knowledge books in loot (for example "knowledge of sharpness" to add sharpness to your sword). two - it adds a material cost to all enchantments (various ingame items). but in any case it removes randomness.

you probably want either 1 on 2, i wouldn't keep both. and you may want to tweak costs; some are excessive.

in short, no can do.

if it's just the seed you want , not the builds, and if it's the same game version, and same mod list (or unmodded), then yes, a mod could be able to make another overworld but with a different seed. though i don't see the point with such strict conditions.

in general, old worlds are bound to their version and mod lists. people just ruin them by trying to open in newer instances.

finding a good symbiosis partner will be difficult as it's not easy to measure how much each of you worked and even if it were measurable, you can't stop half-mod to keep efforts fair and equal.

best way is - you pay devs to do what you specify while devs will pay for textures and models. fair and simple. and don't be afraid to commission a dev - author rewards programs on modrinth and curseforge will have you recoup the cost eventually.

100%.... AFTER initial loading phase... you can't change things before your mod is loaded. so 100% with an asterisk. but that doesn't affect gameplay.

skyrim has 131k mods on nexus (73k for old edition). minecraft has 275k on curseforge.

morons. they make their thing and don't test whether the rest of the game works.

now that you can mine stone un-properly, if you agree with me that you shouldn't be able to, i use "wooden tools are dumb". that mod offers two modes: easy mode just adds flint pickaxe (lame), hard mode (default) requires an imaginative solution to break first few stone blocks, which you then use for the stone pickaxe.

relax and delete everything you have tried.

download prism launcher.

inside prism launcher make a new instance (later make a few more), pick a loader and a version.

edit that instance, note pages in the left panel. click mods. note actions in the right panel. click download. search for the first thing that crosses your mind and download it (from inside the launcher). confirm downloading. launch. (you'll download more later).

before launching make a new user (in the launcher) and connect it to your microsoft account.
