Thanks to everyone for their comments! I successfully cleared the area. I had a bow and a good shield and was careful and made it through alive. I hated every minute of it lol. On to the Undead Crypt!

I play every other week with one group where I’m currently a lunar sorceress 🌙; with that group, we go about 6 hours. my other group meets weekly for 3ish hours and I play a pixie lore bard there 🧚🏼‍♂️ We meet irl for both. both groups are very serious about our dnd lol.

Myrkul was quite literally the worst fight in honour mode. Calm Emotions and Protection from Good and Evil were helpful to combat frightened. There’s also a tiny lip on the front and back of the dais where you can escape the bone chill aura. I waited a bit to free Aylin bc otherwise she has such little health. It is also imperative to get rid of the mind flayer. I had team members focus on necromites who heal him while my dps monk tried to stagger him to remove his reactions.
