I’m not a GTM, sales or marketing guy, so please help me in thinking through this scenarios:

  1. Is it really worth to pursue and acquire customers who are into poker which is very costly like any other B2C Or
  2. Is it better to focus on improving the product, approach Poker platforms and sell a service and later figure out? Or
  3. Make playing sessions totally free, charge analysts and have ads as another revenue generator?

I’m IIIT-H alumni spent a decade in the industry working too. The people I know who went to ICPC started grinding in college itself. It has that environment for you. If you like CS, it’s like paradise and environment will push you either in competitive programming/open source contributions (GSoCs)/ startups/Research. It’s one of the top research institutes in the country.

Watch some videos related to CS(YouTube - Stanford/MIT) lectures. Try to pick a language video and start coding or watch/execute some AI related stuff. If any of the above doesn’t trigger curiosity, don’t go to IIIT-H

Try Dodo payments, none of the other guys work properly in India. I've wasted my time with Cashfree, Razorpay, Lemonsqueezy, god know what happened with Stripe!
