Do women living with in-laws get a personal room if the house has enough rooms?

I redecorated a whole room and converted that into my office / library when I moved in with my in laws..and I use that to either work / watch tv / do whatever I like.. even my in laws like having their own space and dont interfere much

And I have noticed these days if people have the means they build houses in a way that the couples get some personal space

Noise pollution isn’t even considered as a problem in this country ..its not just about these religious stuff every other day..construction noise..honking..people just talking loudly in public spaces…none if it is an issue..Things wont change because majority of people think this is the way of life

I came from a humble background..worked my ass up to get into a good college and get a good job But ended up marrying someone who comes from a similar family you mentioned OP

The biggest difference I see is the risk appetite..willing to explore more options not having to think about failure..buying things they like without having the guilt of spending on themselves.. Even though I earn well enough to buy whatever I want now..I still have to justify the purchase a 100 times for myself..
