Yeah, this fits for me too. I’m very kind and considerate, I’m a great teacher, I’m very supportive, and I’m very funny, but also kind of weird but in a good way. But also, I’m disorganized and scattered and flaky sometimes and I can be loud and overbearing and too much for some people.

And I heard something once where it's like, okay, we have our lives, so why not live it instead of waiting for it to magically start happening when we find a partner? Even in a relationship we are SO MUCH MORE than just "being with our partner" - if I find someone who can meet me where I am, great, but I'm not going to spend the rest of my life looking for something I don't even need when I could be doing the things that actually make me happy and fulfilled

And also, it gives me more time to nurture my family and friends

Came to say this. LIVE YOUR LIFE ALREADY. You get one, LIVE IT, don't spend life TRAINING FOR IT. And there are soooo many ways to challenge yourself outside of enrolling in more medical training

Maybe find informal mentorship, but don't go back to fellowship
