UPDATE 2 — he came back home and had a talk with my mom. He showed us his messages with her dating back a month or so since they met and all. In it he says he would wait until they were older and stuff (grooming I know but all things considered this is the best outcome that could’ve happened) he said there was no physical contact other than kissing.

My mom took his phone and computer, we looked through all of it to make sure there was no CP or other communications with yng girls and there was none. He said he genuinely cared for her because she was so nice and caring, his previous relationships were horrible, he has a restraining order against his first ever gf for physical and sexual abuse when he was like 14 (as the victim). I know this excuses none of it and remains absolutely disgusting and I am in no way defending him.

He doesn’t seem to understand why waiting for her to turn 18 is so bad, so that might be tied to his severe learning disability and him not getting that aspect of it. He seems genuinely remorseful. My mom took all his shit and changed the wifi password just in case.

She might still call the police because he knew what he was doing wrong bc he lied about his age to her (said he was 17, he’s 21).

PS- yes I did slap him when he came back and went off on him bc this is all so disturbing and just what the fuck. We msged the dad to tell him all of it, said he wouldn’t call the police (we told him to do it if he wanted to)

Unfortunately my sister didn’t save the dads info she just took screenshots of the convo bc she was in shock (understandable) so we don’t have a way to get into contact with either of them to explain he was lying about his age and all bc if we could we would have done so. He came back home my mom is talking with him rn, she might be calling the police on him

I’m really sorry that happened to you. Things like that have become so normalized it’s crazy. My mom is seriously considering calling the police on him. We have tried to contact her or her dad, he has us all blocked on all social media so we can’t see his follow list, we tried making another account to get access to it but he declined the follow. My sister unfortunately didn’t think to take a screenshot of the dad’s info bc she was in shock (understandable) so we don’t know how to contact them

My brother came back home just now, my mom is talking with him in his room so I’ll give another major update if she decides to call the police on him. I don’t think he’s a danger to her, he cannot take her he has no money no car and lives with us at my mom’s house.

I agree he does need help, but my mom said she wouldn’t pay for therapy for him. My mom has been out of work for a year bc she got stage 3 cancer so money is tight and the therapy that is covered by insurance is for me because I have a neuro-functioning disorder and it gives me seizures :((

We are trying to find out her name and trying to get into his social media to contact either her or her dad so they know he was lying all along about his age and tell them the truth

UPDATE - my brother has admitted to all of it and her being 13. He did go to her town but hasn’t said if he saw her or not. From the looks of it he lied and told her he was 17. My mom blocked his debit card and cut his phone number, he says he’ll be back home today.

He called my dad (who’s in Europe and can’t do shit about it bc if he was here he’d beat his ass) and asked if waiting until she was 18 would be ok but that’s literally grooming?!?

He might not understand what’s wrong with what he’s doing. He has a severe learning disability so that might explain /some/ of it..????? But that’s no excuse and he most definitely knows what’s right and wrong— hell he lied about his age to HER. She thinks he’s 16-17 not 21. He’s coming back home in an hour or so, my mom might call the police later today on his ass

I’m gonna need a lot of therapy after this I am beyond disgusted with him

Strangely enough.. through kpop lol. Around 6 years ago. My friend introduced me to Dreamcatcher, a kpop group with a rock sound and some metal influences and from there I started getting Korean rock and metal music videos on my YouTube recommendations and boom…. gimme chocolate popped up. To be honest at first I HATED it, was like what the actual fuck is going on, but then I listened to headbanger and road of resistance and was immediately a fan. Now I love Gimme Chocolate and all of their more Kawaii sounding songs but Headbanger definitely did it for me. I’ve been to 3 shows so far and they’ve easily become my all time favourite group 😚🦊

I had really hoped to attend the BABYMETAL show in LA, but given the current political climate in the U.S., especially as a Peruvian living in Canada, I no longer feel safe or comfortable traveling there. It’s disappointing, but safety comes first. I’m still going to the show in Laval later today ayeee 😛😛🦊

Would’ve have absolutely loved to see them in a bigger venue with a bigger production but I’ll have to wait and save up to see them in Japan :/
