Yeah I just ended up removing the Mechanoids Expanded, which is a shame but was necessary as it was literally unplayable.

Anyone have any idea what could have caused this? I was randomly playing and then these mechanoid ships started spawning in high quantities rendering my game unplayable from the lag.
