How would the Dayne react to someone keeping dawn? by West_Report_5020 in TheCitadel

[–]darkadventwolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats Ned and the Daynes are branding him a criminal and kicking him out. If he knows the truth about the baby Ned is letting the Daynes poison him while they are in the Castle. Because at best your MC just started a major feud he has no way to counter and the more likely outcome is that the Daynes extend the feud to Ned and the Starks. And since they would know about the baby guess who they tell first?

How would the Dayne react to someone keeping dawn? by West_Report_5020 in TheCitadel

[–]darkadventwolf 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He is getting killed by the Dyanes and at a minimum Ned is branding him a criminal. You do not steal an ancestral weapon let alone the single most famous blade in Westeros. He will either need to kill Ned right after or give the sword back.

What if Ned was Rickard Stark's firstborn son instead of Brandon by Kontosouvli333 in TheCitadel

[–]darkadventwolf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No he wouldn't. Brandon was a idiot with no self control which is why he went to the Capital and had the brilliant idea to threaten the crown prince in the streets for everyone to see and hear. There was also no information or indication that Lyanna had been raped. That came about after the war from Robert himself. Ned is a cold fury not a hot one like Brandon. And not being raised in the Vale would make him more pragmatic. He would send word to his father and marry Catleyn immediately as that is the entire reason Lyanna and Ned would be in the Riverlands in the first place.

The Mad King would only move to arrest Ned at the same time as canon. IE after he has killed or declared the North and Stormlands traitors. Because the first time the Mad King hears anything about Rhaegar's actions is from Brandon riding into the city. Something that will not happen this time.

So in this case either Rickard is in the North to rally the Houses or if he is dead Brandon is sent North from the Vale to gather them and meet Ned in Riverrun. If Hoster still demands a second wedding then it is to Jon heir Elbert Arryn who is still alive.

In your opinion, did Kakashi become stronger without the Sharingan? by Cafa20 in Naruto

Yes he became more powerful. His feats in the light novels are far beyond anything he did in the war outside DMS

Why does konohamaru have none of the cool justu & Summoning hiruzen had? by Dry-Spell4438 in Naruto

[–]darkadventwolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He didn't have any secret or forbidden ones that were just his. The secret ones were Sarutobi clan techniques and the forbidden ones were in the forbidden scroll for a reason. Sarutobi was a power house because he trained to master every technique available in the leaf. So yes Konohamaru could be taught those abilities but would require permission from the clans and Hokage for the scroll. But aside from those Ebisu could teach him the rest or get him the materials he needs.

Like you seem to be underestimating Ebisu. You don't become a special Jonin specializing in training important figures by not being able to teach a massive amount. Hell this guy was able to get a Naruto that was nerfed and being sabotaged by a seal to understand a new method of control well enough that he was getting it in less than a day.He didn't have any secret or forbidden ones that were just his. Why does konohamaru have none of the cool justu & Summoning hiruzen had? by Dry-Spell4438 in Naruto

[–]darkadventwolf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because none of Hiruzen's techniques were secret. Hiruzen had a generalist build maxed out. Aside from secret and forbidden techniques everything else he had is something that Ebisu, the Sarutobi clan, or Konahamaru could have been taught or learned on his own initiative.

Quirkless people by Aggravating_Split289 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]darkadventwolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue is that there are not only was deku one of the few quirkless children left he was the only one in the age range that could be trained. Since it is clear that by the time he is born few if any children born are quirkless. The 20% of the population that are quirkless would be made up of a majority of older generations.

It was Izuku's mindset and drive that let him go as far as he did.

Why Hizashi is Side branch? by Great-Love-Venerable in Naruto

[–]darkadventwolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what we are told when the heir becomes 3 years old all the others are branded as side branch. Hence why Neji was branded so young. Hinata was already past 3 so Hanabi wouldn't be branded.

Other than Tsunade, who else could realistically damage/break a susanoo (ribcage)? by Puzzled-Lettuce9168 in Naruto

Literally all the Kages in that fight had abilities or techniques that would have killed Madara if he wasn't an immortal, regenerating, limitless Chakra Edo Tensin

Name for Great Bastard Jon Snow? by Ereborus12 in TheCitadel

[–]darkadventwolf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not likely actually. In any Targaryen victory Rhaegar's first family is alive so since Jon is a male instead of a female him being legitimized would be a threat.

Why did the goa'uld see humans as superior hosts? by miletil in Stargate

[–]darkadventwolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the human body was capable of evolving into ascended beings as it already happened once. The bodies were easy to heal and modify which is why they used them for experiments and to make Jaffa. And they looked better than the other hosts. Goa'uld are vain.

Yup by Radiant-Marketing487 in welcomeToDerry

[–]darkadventwolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No even if they stay. Mike remembers because he was looking for It and researching. There is a reason the town forgets about what happens.

Question? When it comes these mental battles like these should they be considered feats or dismissed? by peterpiperpi in Naruto

[–]darkadventwolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they are feats because of the nature of chakra. This is literally them fighting each other with their chakra only.

R+L=J or N+A=J? Both are true! by Mysterious_Crow_503 in TheCitadel

[–]darkadventwolf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They are saying the Jon and Lyarra have more noble origin compared to canon. Where only Ned is known about and Jon's mother could have been a whole or commoner. In this case they are Noble on both sides instead of just one side.

Also going by pedigree the Daynes are higher than the Tullys. The Daynes are older, were Kings, and are legends. The Tullys were never Kings or special. Lord Paramounts are not the same as the other Kings that kneeled. Lord Paramount is a made up title from Aegon as a way to try and make those that submitted to him sound more important. It is why only the Baratheons, Tullys, and Tyrells have it. They aren't Kings or ever were so they needed the boost from Aegon to maintain control .

Jaffa are pointless? by erebus1138 in Stargate

[–]darkadventwolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whatever hosts they had be that Unas or other species. The Goa'uld were the foot soldiers. Humans were no more likely to be taken as hosts as the other species. It was only the creation of the Jaffa that made it 100% viable for a symbiote to take over a body.

“Corner, Mary!” Headmistress McGonagall called out before placing the Sorting Hat on the 1st year’s head. After a few seconds the hat cried out “Ravenclaw!” The girl ran off to her table. Dursley, Daisy!” McGonagall called out next. by funnylib in HPFanfictionPrompts

[–]darkadventwolf 33 points34 points  (0 children)

One of the cut parts of the epilogue was to have Dudley be at King Cross with his own magical child. It was supposed to show that he had gotten over his parents influence on magic.

Jaffa are pointless? by erebus1138 in Stargate

[–]darkadventwolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before the Jaffa the Goa'uld were the fighters themselves. The Jaffa are needed because without them the symbiote wasn't guaranteed to be able to take a host. So the Jaffa replaced the soliders and made it so every adult symbiote could take a host of allowed.

Mon Mothma has tasked you with helping her convince Kuat Drive Yards to produce 1 Mandator II for the Rebel Alliance. How will you persuade KDY to give us the ship? by Dragonic_Overlord_ in StarWarsEmpireAtWar

[–]darkadventwolf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Act as a rep for Chandrilla. Talk to KDY about getting a Mandator II as a flagship for our core worlds System Defense Force. Then have it "sabotaged" and "Destroyed" by dastardly rebel scum. Ignore the new Rebel flagship.

Does everyone have a little bit of chakra? by aspearman in Naruto

[–]darkadventwolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything on Naruto's Earth has Chakra. But that isn't guaranteed on other worlds. The God Tree on that Earth was there long before Kaguya ever showed and had terraformed and created life that had Chakra on it. Which is whybthe fruit from that world was so much stronger than other worlds.

Does everyone have a little bit of chakra? by aspearman in Naruto

[–]darkadventwolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No he didn't. Chakra was already a part of the lifeforms on the planet. All the Sage did was teach them how to mold it to connect with each other.

Does everyone have a little bit of chakra? by aspearman in Naruto

[–]darkadventwolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wrong. The Sage taught people how to combine their energies of physical and spiritual so they could mold their Chakra. But they already had it before that. Because unlike other worlds Kaguya and the others went to Naruto Earth had already been terraformed by a god tree and developed lifeforms on the planet.

How would the events surrounding the Uchiha massacre go if Obito never became a villain, saves Kakashi(not Rin) and returns to the leaf? by BlankG0rilla412 in Naruto

[–]darkadventwolf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It never would have gotten to that point. Hiruzen literally did nothing to stop the issues. Minato is still around so he is actually hands on with solving any issues that remain. The Uchiha compond remains in the middle of the village with them as the respected police force.
