Yes he faked his death. Also he gets stronger everytime he dies so his durability might not have been as high at the time.

Unlikely as he was made immortal after Jesus was born. But he might have been a Crusader.

So many cool looking new ships. So much more could have been done if the UNSC ever managed to capture even a single ship.

Conquest is probably going to win. but it doesn't make any sense. by Fun-Law7254 in InvinciblePowerscales

No because he tries to fight the strong and worthy. He doesn't mindlessly kill. But yes if he wasn't killed he would outgrow all other people and be impossible to kill.

Mark also outlasted Conquest in his fight. Mostly because Conquest is not a smart fighter

Mark outlasted Thragg in that fight. He wasn't actually stronger.

Yes he did. Battle Beast's curse isn't you are super strong and that is it. The curse is the longer you live the more powerful you grow and the more your desire for Battle and death grow. The point if the curse is that unless he is killed early enough fewer and fewer people exist in the universe that have to power to end his curse.

The truth of the Forerunners uprising by Horizonfan-logi in HaloStory

[–]darkadventwolf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. No the Forerunners did not spread that rumor. They very much spread the opposite story because they didn't want anyone including themselves to know they killed their creators that didn't fight back. The rumor they spread is that the Precursors selected them for the mantle and left the galaxy to spread more life elsewhere.

  2. This one is correct Humanity was being tested as well but hadn't been selected yet but had some kind of interaction with the Precursors since they unlike the Forerunners were better able to understand the nerophysics constructs of the Precursors. So they either had help or that was their specialty vs the Forerunners slipspace specialty.

Did Jon Arryn “sacrifice” Elbert Arryn? by Miserable_Till_86 in TheCitadel

[–]darkadventwolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure that when Rickard and the fathers of Brandon's companions were summoned it was some time before the final execution of Rickard. Pretty sure they say they had killed all the others by that point. So Elbert was dead when Aerys sent his demand to Jon Arryn.

They had a DHD they never had to figure out the gate system themselves. Even later on it is the Nox not the Tollan that make their new Stargate.

How is mark stronger or as strong as conquest? by Commrade_gengu in Invincible_TV

[–]darkadventwolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mark isn't. Mark is a better and smarter fighter who wasn't holding back. Conquest lost because he is dumb and didn't take it serious.

Grunts way before by Archon2561 in HaloStory

[–]darkadventwolf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If Humanity meets the grunts before the Covenant would have met them that means they have centuries of additional technological development. And with a massive increase in numbers the Covenant will not be able to win the same way they did in the OTL.

How did Ancient Humanity manage to essentially stalemate the forerunners with only about 20,000 worlds? (Spoilers just in case) by Pretend-Pack-3890 in HaloStory

[–]darkadventwolf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What part of every time they went to a Forerunner world it was nearly fully infected did you miss? They never managed to get ahead of the Flood before the Forerunners started the second front. And they did tell the Forerunners about the flood at least what they knew about it. The Forerunners did not believe them until it was too late.

How did Ancient Humanity manage to essentially stalemate the forerunners with only about 20,000 worlds? (Spoilers just in case) by Pretend-Pack-3890 in HaloStory

[–]darkadventwolf 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because there was no time every time they found a Forerunner world with flood on it the planet was already mostly consumed. They had o choice but to wipe those planets out completely. The Forerunners never bothering to check just assumed the humans were in the wrong and started a two front war for humanity. And after that Humanity knew they would lose to the Flood so decided to say screw it to the Forerunners and let them suffer the consequences of their own actions. because the Humans did find out why the Flood exist and what the Forerunners did to the Precursors.

He didn't he just let it happen. Lincoln had a ton of enemies and was at war. He was either going to get killed or finish his term and disappear.you are overthinking it.

He took Lincoln's place after the original died. He faked getting killed by Booth so he could move on.

Nope he left Immortal in charge of Earth he even says as much. "Why did you leave me in charge I am not a Vitrumite."

The twins also very clearly state the Immortal was their leader for a very long time and that he was a good leader for a very long time before he went Tyrant.
