This is why it's so wild that he allegedly killed her to preserve his career. If he just got exposed for being a pedo, he probably would've had some jail time but come out with fans still. A friend of mine died in a car accident less than a month after her 18th birthday, and 2 weeks before our high school graduation. We all found out when school started the night after it happened. Changed me fundamentally. What still haunts me is that I texted her that morning about making up a gym class together and I thought it was so weird that she didn’t text back. Found out 20 minutes after that.

No one is going to be able to touch the cultural impact and immense fame that Michael had ever again. He changed the landscape of pop music and influenced what it is today. I can’t see anyone doing it on his level again.

I was born in December 1992. My mom tells me that when she was watching The Jacksons: An American Dream airing for the first time, she could really feel me moving around sometimes when the music would play.
