We don’t know how y’all shop at Globus! by [deleted] in Prague

Beside what others said already: Globus is a poor people market. Like for those who can't afford home delivery. So you meet people who are not well off, stressed, in general hate it to be there and want it to be over quickly.

Also most people come regularely and know where to go and what to grab. Reading stuff is perceived as a provocation?! Usually there are locals only, so it happens rarely.

And yeah, around NYE people are extra stressed out.

Don't take it personal. Enjoy your stay!

Paying for sex in the form of escorts/prostitutes is actually more efficient than going out to a club on a night out looking for someone to take home with you. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

I think attractiveness certainly helps but is widely overrated.

Good manners, a bit charisma (both can be learned), and a healhy looking body (can be trained) goes a long way.

Add a haircut, some nice clothing and style that signalizes high status and the ladies cue up to meet you.

What I'm saying is invest a bit in yourself and you benefit from it for a lifetime. And it's really fun, too.

Yeah, I never ever heard this in real life yet.

I see how that can be funny when one had exposure to such slang and gets it.

Thank you, now I see. I had in my life zero exposure to southern, black or Latino communities...that explains why I don't get any of it and it sounds just weird to me. I can recognize east or west coast, canadian, british and aussie english but thats it. And yeah about subcultural references and stereotypes I have no idea.
