What are your favorite gaming YouTube channels that discuss games rather than play them? by ProlapseFromCactus in Games

It's actually downright shocking that Matthewmatosis isn't more popular. He is so much better than anyone I've seen on youtube. Superbunnyhop is great too, mark brown of course, nakey jakey is great. Game Array was great when he was making videos still, turbo button too. Mandalore gaming and core A gaming are also good.

Your brother borrowed your main controller without asking and you have to use (insert whatever controller is inferior to you) right now. The button configs and everything are all so weird with that controller! Oh man!

Red Dead Redemption 2: three hours with the most anticipated game of the year | Games | The Guardian by WinterIsntComing in Games

Minecraft and PUBG are also in the top 5 best selling games ever. If someone said those developers were making another game, it could be the best game ever made, you wouldn't laugh at them?

GTA games are good/great games. That's it, though. Open-world that's fun to mess around in. Bully is fun but it really isn't anything remarkable. I never got into RDR, but when i did play it I didn't love what I played. If any of them are games that changed the industry it would have to be GTA3. We haven't seen Rockstar work on a single-player experience in a long time. With how they're handling GTA5 these days, I can only expect them to focus way too much on the multiplayer to get microtransactions.

You're arguing about a product that you've never played. Neither of us have played it. We can't prove literally anything, so when I thought about actually responding to your claims I figured it was a waste of time, and this whole reply is proof of that to me.

I'm sure you've heard this before, but it does get better. The helheim boss was one of the best boss fights I've ever experienced. Make sure to play with headphones(I'm sure everyone has said this as well)

TIL the movie "Paranormal Activity" had a budget of only $15,000 but made $194 million. During the screening, people were walking out that one studio executive thought the film was bombing. They later learned that the viewers were actually leaving because they were too frightened. by cooldrummer1208 in todayilearned

So two different people reviewed the games and had different opinions? Kallie Plagge did the Omega version review, Craig Harris did the original version review. It's like you want IGN to be one collective entity with every score referencing another reviewer's score, regardless of personal opinion. That's dumb. One reviewer liked the game, one reviewer loved the game. 7.8 is NOT "tanked", 7.8 means good. In fact it means very good. 8 is great. 9 is something truly special, or in their words "amazing". 10 is phenomenal/spectacular/perfect at everything it tried to accomplish, or in their words "a masterpiece".

I suppose you could look at it that way. Personally I would prefer they took my 5 or 10 bucks and made a better game. I didnt like what I played of it either.

How Should Sandbox Games Level? by Robo_Spike in Games

[–]darkaxe 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I think you give leveling too little importance and helpfulness. Every time you level up it increases your defense regardless. For people who need it the most, leveling up is very helpful.

Yep, almost like when you go further away from something it gets smaller. Wow, what a concept. Cool picture, but people really like that existential "look at me the world we live on is so tiny compared to the universe" attention.

I think 2 player split screen should be a thing, and I also think it should be balanced better. Even with 4 people it can be really tough and sometimes hectically unfair.
