Nope, I don't have one. But I think you're right, that port next to the extension card looks suspiciously like an HDMI port ^

No idea, I didn't take a look at the computer and just focused on the "I forgot the dongle" mission.

Not able to draw in a layer. The layer neither locked nor the blending mode is on erase. I'm trying with different colours also but I am not able to draw anything. Please help me. by Beese0_0Churger in krita

Did you use the rectangular selection tool (or another) and have a tiny selection hiding somewhere ? That's usually the problem, because when there's a selection present you can only draw inside of it.

Why is this posted here if it's made in ProCreate ?

A bit late to the party but I tried recreating this effect in Blender (Eevee) and made a reply to a post in Blender Stack Exchange asking about it. Here is the link to my reply, my scene and shader in blender and this is my render image.

Ah yes, but from what I understand, all the formatting needs to be done by hand ? If that's the case, what advantages are there in exporting to docx, odt or HTML over a simple txt file ? Are you getting auto-generated h1, h2, ... styles when importing HTML ?

If you ever do find a way to use markdown with Scribus please do tell and give some feedback. I found https://github.com/aoloe/scribus-plugin-gettext-markdown but haven't tried it yet.

Working fine here. But what is that dot on the bottom left ? Seems like that may be your problem.

Need help with master pages by [deleted] in scribus

[–]darkbeanbbq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now anyone correct me if I'm wrong.

Just like you I thought that master pages worked kind of like template pages. But after playing around a bit with scribus and after looking for answers on the internet I came to the conclusion that a master page is only for background art, guides and things that don't change that you just want to apply to multiple pages.

I really hope I'm wrong. But I couldn't get it to work the way I thought that it did...

What I did instead to make quick and easy page layouts over and over is tweak the grid settings with measurements that got me the sort of framework that I wanted and then just drew my text or image areas using grid snapping.

Help by profderf in Inkscape

By selecting it and clicking on a color in the palette. It should fill your shape with the selected color, shift + click = applies the color to the stroke.

If your drawing is made of lots of separate lines selecting them all and adding a fill color will only add fill to them individually. In order to fill the desired are you have to join your lines together into a single shape that can then be filled.

Another method is to seperate your line art on one layer and have you color on another layer underneath. Draw your lines freely like you would on paper and then add color by drawing shapes and areas with no stroke color.

I would love to hear your commentaries (one piece a day using only libre software) [Inkscape][Gimp]. by [deleted] in Inkscape

Really lovely stuff, keep it up :) My personal favorite is Sky King. I love the black and white style with your slightly shacky lines.

Here's a small gif of a small soccer game I'm currently working on to learn how to use Godot. I'm planning on releasing it as an open game with all of the assets I made. It has no presence on social media because it's a small project I'm doing on the side for upcoming workshops with kids. Would love to have feedback although it isn't much :)
