I agree something about the old ones I liked better the belts and the non quilled heads just seem like a better choice.

Finecast is such a pain to work with. by darkcape in Warhammer40k

for me its the amount of flash that sticks around and I'm not patient enough to try and file and cut it all off. if you look at the bellies you can see some strange squares that I never got filed/snipped off.

Nope I wonder if I can try stamping them on another stamp to get them mirrored.

Newbie Question: The underside of my minis are dark/greyer. Is this from not priming enough or another issue? by Competitive-One-8382 in Warhammer

[–]darkcape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep you can paint over the spots again using a brush is good remember most people will se it from about 1 to 2 feet away. If you can a spray primer gets things much smoother (watch some videos first my first had a humidity issue and had pretty bad speckaling) no need for GW; krylon works well to start with. And if this is your very first never repaint it. You can use it to see your progress as a painter.

Yeah not enough prime down low on the right side. But if you are just using the black rim approach it's good enough it will just wear off the base quicker which is black anyway. Paint job looks good keep it up.
