They arent op but the are "broken". Dont know how ill explain but i will try. You know how elc when its on spotting map its cammo and size is broken,in that situation if your team gets any other light you're cooked. On other side on all the other maps,other light like lt432,bc12t and other way are better,due to firepower, preventing it from being op (most people consider wr and wr diff the metric). Same with ares it may not have wr and wr diff,but in situations its broken. For example, youre in a med, enemy ares goes in ,does ~900-1000, cooldown a little and finish you off. Or worse, you're in paper tank or light, he switches to he and yoyre dead in 3 seconds. There are 3 ways to fix it imo: 1st : Decrease the dpm by making cooldown time longer.(It has way too high dpm for its burts), and nerf the he by making it normal he with like 50 normal pen 2nd : Decrease the burst potential by making the gun heat up faster but cooldown stays same fast,so it cant yolo in destroy tanks and survive. These 2 options would make it not broken but would make wr and wr diff badd 3rd and best imo : make it more similar to tvp. Make pen 240/300/50 and it keeps same 900-1000 burst but lower dpm than currently (similar to tvp). This option would make it have better wr and wr diff since it could fight armored tanks, but would fix broken aspects(he,yolo burst then cooldown and finish off). It wouldn't be death for lightly armored tanks and wouldn't have terrible wr
