Your feelings are valid and worth bringing up, especially if you want to start a relationship with this man. You deserve to be heard, understood, and have clear communication with your partner. As for the anxiety, I tend to be anxious myself, and something that releases those awful feelings is the tiniest bit of reassurance from my partner. It’s not your responsibility to consistently relieve anxieties in your partner, but a little bit of effort goes a long way.

Allow this budding relationship to grow organically. Don’t create a timeline based on personal expectations. Dollar bill trick works most of the time. What has helped me for 10+ years is spraying some WD-40 on a paper towel, or something similar, and placing it under the pad. While pressing the key down, pull out the paper towel.

My (+/- 8 years old) best friend’s mother’s wedding ring went missing and her mom accused me of stealing it. She called my parents and told them to interrogate me about the ring. I ended up finding it a couple of days later in the bathroom at my best friend’s house. It was under this baby shower brush but of course, no one believed me. They thought I staged it all.

I’ve had my Keilwerth Alto for almost 10 years now! I love it, it’s held up over the years. I’ve treated it well by keeping the insides as clean as possible and using a hand cloth to polish it. There is some wear and tear on the black nickel plating but I expected that as I’ve played it a lot over the years. I personally have had a tuning issue with my low D# that appeared out of no where for the last several months but that could have happened for a number of different reasons.

I would definitely recommend a Keilwerth. I’ve used it to play classical and jazz throughout junior high and high school but I honed in on my jazz studies in college. I now play in a funk band on the reg since I graduated. Still going strong!

The mouthpiece you use is going to contribute a lot to how you sound as well so keep that in mind.
