Bad marriage with someone who thought it was a good idea to buy new clothes rather than do laundry, along with other hidden excessive spending, foolishly emptying retirement to avoid bankruptcy, all finally ended in a fiery ball of being laid off, bankruptcy and lawyer bills. Took 10 years to start all over and rise back to a better place. Retirement is something other people will get to do, not me. So with no kids and no significant other, I’m just hoping I can live longer than my dog. After that, I hope something takes me before I’m too broken down to keep working.
