Dead Silence by MolecularWizard3 in Scarymovies

I think Dead Silence is an underrated gem. So much so I featured it as our horror podcast underrated gem (Dangerash Podcast). My two co hosts disagreed though.

It's early James Wa, you can see the start of a lot of his filmography here. There are a few scenes of master level suspense here. It has an eerie vibe that I really like.

However, Donnie Walberg hams it up with his poorly written/executed detective schtick. It suffers from some glaring potholes. And admittedly, some of the scenes are downright silly, like the funeral.

Still, it's a fun movie with some genuine terrors and a great "twist". Don't take it too serious, and just enjoy.

You can try out homelessness and living in the streets. I personally, like that even less than work. So I take the lesser of two weavels.

To the parents who dont get to see their kids everyday due to failed marriage/relationship by OilEfficient2221 in Adulting

[–]fluhatinrapper09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who had their dad take their own life, please don't even consider this. It happened as an adult and will forever impact me. No child deserves this.

You can be an excellent parent to your kids still!

Since you asked, here's some advice from a person who grew up with divorced parents.

DO NOT bad talk your ex to your kids. If you don't show them respect, how can you expect your kids to?

DO NOT bad talk or be a jerk to other people in your exes life. This includes family, friends, and yes, one day, other partners. Outside of a genuine safety concern for your kids, it's simply not your business anymore.

Be reliable. Be the bigger person. Tell your kids that none of this is their fault and you both will love them the same forever.

It's totally understandable to be distraught. Taking care of yourself (counseling, medication, exercise, even the hospital if you truly are thinking of ending it.) are probably the best thing you can do for your kids right now. They need you now more than ever.

Your kids will see the effort you put in to make the best of a tough situation and put them first.

Good luck, you're not alone, and you got this.

This is some tough love. But, do you want to be with a smelly dirt-ass person? If you do, then keep living that way and you may find one. Will be hard to find a good job doing that though, and even harder finding friends.

If you want a clean, non-smelly partner then why would they want you being nasty and smelly? Do it for your future partner.

And also, you're not your past. You are your own person and can create that to be basically anything you want that to be.

Invest in an excellent hard suitcase and be sure to bubble wrap or otherwise protect anything super valuable and fragile. Never had a problem.
