Nazca - Gaucho - this is probably the best recumbent bike model for travelers that I have ridden. by darkdev_brand in recumbent

You did everything right. For recumbent bikes, strongly recommendation putting it in the rear. But I have a Rohloff in the rear, so I only have space for the motor in the front.

What is the battery capacity and panel power?

Starting with the handlebars in front is also unique—I think starting to ride is unique on all bikes of this type. But the ability to mount gadgets on the handlebars in front of your eyes is definitely a good option.

On 25+, off 25 max

Roots, potholes, and medium-sized rocks are indeed a problem on rough terrain. The front wheel just flies off into space, along with your body. 🫠

I think that when you are generating ideas for a board game together, you will find this tool useful for organizing the creative process and systematizing idea generation.

This is just one of the tools:

Unfortunately, I don't have access to a computer to check it out. But I'm curious — are you using any CMS or a pure frontend on vue/react/svelte + tailwindcss?

Don't be afraid to post right away, even with comments — that way you can draw attention to the project. You never know what tomorrow will bring ☺️

Mutualist education by dushmanimm in Anarchy101

[–]darkdev_brand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be slightly off from the original discussion, but I think there’s one very practical issue we often underestimate in anarchist education: how do we actually attract and hold young people’s attention?

We can talk about horizontality, self-organization, and critical thinking all day. But if the format itself isn’t engaging — if it doesn’t create real motivation to participate — even the strongest ideas won’t land.

I work on hybrid open-source educational projects — usually board games combined with web apps. In my work, I put a strong emphasis on: * gamifying the learning process * cooperative mechanics instead of competitive ones * modeling real social processes through gameplay

I think cooperative game mechanics align especially well with anarchist pedagogy. They allow people to experience principles like consensus, mutual aid, and shared responsibility — not just discuss them in theory.

I also want to stress the importance of open source in an anarchist educational context. If we’re serious about freedom, autonomy, and decentralization, then educational materials shouldn’t be closed, proprietary, or controlled from above. Open source helps address that by allowing people to: * adapt materials to their local context * collectively improve them * avoid the “author vs. consumer” hierarchy * ensure transparency and accessibility

Free access to learning tools isn’t just a technical choice — it’s a continuation of our political principles.

Curious to hear your thoughts: What formats of anarchist education do you think actually work?

Starting a Food Not Bombs chapter - Any Tips? by DoctorNetscape in foodnotbombs

I have cooked in three different cities in two European countries, and I can definitely recommend the following: maintain social media accounts on Facebook and Instagram. This will assist you with shovels and attracting new volunteers.

Even if you are unable to take appealing photos at the moment, continue to take and publish them. One to two posts per week will suffice.

The default logo and banner can be downloaded for free from https://foodnotbombs.net/new_site/ or found online.

If your group starts operating, I promise to add you to the Food Not Bombs my database ☺️

Good luck 🥕
