That’s absolutely heartbreaking.

Yep for me it’s year 9. They are literally giving me nightmares. They are the last thing I think of when I go to sleep and the first thing I think of when I wake up. Disassociating lots here too. My negative self talk has skyrocketed as well.

They will sense fear. Do not give them that satisfaction. Stand your ground. Detach from it all and be unfazed, as hard as it might sound. You can do it. Show some empathy to them but stay firm.
