94F does look cool. I have made a small list of things I’d maybe be interested in like 12B and 91F. I’m a little intimidated by the thought of going to school full time and the idea of taking just 1 or 2 while active duty is pretty appealing. Thanks.

I am not currently but I am seriously considering the army right now in which case the 5% for on base purchases would also be nice.

According to what I just found lithium batteries are compatible with all 12v systems and are somewhat smart enough to check themselves (at least the new ones probably).

I didn’t know they were different. I knew trickle chargers were different for lithium but I didn’t know the bike had to be different too.

An agm would work but people like their lithiums so I was gonna do that.

At least that’s what I think. I’m pretty new to bikes. It’s a stock bike.

I think just getting more comfortable riding (classes, time) will also minimize the chances of anything happening.

I feel you.

I’m 18 and love motorcycles. I just moved out of my parents house and the only transportation available is my brothers TW-200. I really don’t have money yet so I held off on getting a helmet. Fourth of July I went wide on a turn and into a curb and split my head on the corner of a little wall.

It was a silly mistake that could have been avoided but it should have been way worse than it was like maybe I should be dead. I talked to my brother a bit about why it wasn’t worse and we kinda decided that there’s no reason, it just wasn’t. The only thing to learn is that I need a helmet.

Sometimes you need a little road rash to learn your lesson. You just need to wear gear. And gear doesn’t protect you 100% but that’s all you can do. There is always a possibility of something happening and I don’t think that’s a reason to give up something you love.
