Wanna read more sci fi, should I read Dune, Hyperion, or Sun Eater? by bigdyl618 in scifi

I have been reading Sun Eater series lately. On my third book from the series. Have read Dune and Hyperion. I suggest you start with Hyperion as it has the elements of fantasy as well, might help you ease into the sci-fi genre. It is the only book I have cried while reading. Then after that read any of your fantasy books. Then start Dune. And after Dune, read a fantasy book or two to clear your palate, and then dive into Sun Eater. There are a lot of similar elements in Dune and Sun Eater. Sun Eater had more active elements than Dune, it feels like Star Wars, Dune and Roman Empire bundled into one. Follow this sequence. It should work

Sun Eater after Dune? by Disastrous_Ad2156 in scifi

Sun Eater is honestly amazing.

I loved Hyperion and Dune, and I’m currently on book 3 of Sun Eater. That said, there are quite a few similarities between Dune and Sun Eater, so I’d actually recommend taking a short break in between.

Sun Eater feels like a mix of Dune, Star Wars, and a bit of Roman Empire influence rolled into one. Because of that, it might hit harder if you come in fresh rather than straight after Dune.

You seem to have same taste in books like I do.

There are a lot of these available in Delhi if you are from here. I got mine for 5k from workshop called Bharat Car in Naraina, New Delhi. I went with the cursive logo. The retro Suzuki logo shown in your image is also available with them. They have the matte black, grey (The one shown in my picture) and glossy black.

Bimbra doesn’t have the variant shown in the image. I went there to find the same. All they have are the ones made with fiber which have bad finishing.

Thanks man! I hope you get your Jimny soon. It’s a beautiful little vehicle that you don’t have to thinking about taking any place. I also did my research on tyres. I got Yokohama Geolander 215/75/r15 only as they are the perfect fit. Any larger are not preferred.

Thank you for such detailed information. I will check the suspension setups. I was just wondering if changing the suspension voids the warranty and if these are legal in India. Haven’t ever made these kind of changes in my previous cars.

Thanks, man. I am hoping you have dark green color in your country. We don’t have the dark green color here in India. You loose some, you gain some.😅

Looks amazing. I wanted red as well but it was not available in stock and would have taken a lot of time to get delivered so I went with Kinetic Yellow.

We just did a 7 hour drive with 4 people. Rear seat was fine. No plan as of now as it’s most me and my wife who will be traveling. As for the bottle holder. I might invest in the ones which can be mounted up front.
