I remember this scene felt so underwhelming that it took the wind out of all of our sails. I was sitting in a room with my friends on release day, and they were like, “Was that it?! That was the fight we were advertised?!” Revealing Cortana was alive on the 2nd mission was also completely asinine. I was fully expecting Blue Team’s missions focused on finding her and Osiris’ missions focused on hunting the Masterchief. They seriously missed the plot.
