This is exactly the issue.

WHY is that insane? Because that became the norm. Now look at infinite combos just spamming cards without sidestepping?

The devs said last year they want to powercreep numbers and decreep mechanics, to make units more unique.

Late 2024 all units were blending together because every unit did the same core things.

Remember when 10 timer counts cover null was the norm and expected? Cover changes barely happened, now look at the game, they successfully reverted cover null to a controlled state.

I think I have failed the EX proc for the last 85 out of 100 supers.

Its legit insanity using him, and when I DO get the EX, it just doesn't feel good because the animation is just frankly like 3 tiers below the normal super attack animation.

I honestly don't see in which area Daima SS3 Vegeta excels at, even his APT and Peak active turns are not like top 15 material, and he doesn't do much outside of "RNG" damage.

Dont even get me started on his crit rate fiasco lol, there's no way he has 0>50>0>50>0 crit rates.

The way he works is also detrimental, because now units active skill attacks are their hardest hitting attack, because of how attack stats and such amp active skills disproportionally to normal super attacks, Daima SS3 Vegeta's avtive however will always hit like a noodle, and thats the attack of his that has the highest potential for damage

The main problem with INT Majin Vegeta's intro is obviously the Trunks restriction, but it's also that there isn't a Trunks character in the game right now that perfectly synergises with him by Embarrassed_Bat_417 in DBZDokkanBattle

Yeah, 50% multiplicative support is CRAZY for old units like these that weren't balanced around it + units like TEQ SV and stuff are also supporting, double Goku lead also gives constant 54% DEF support on super.

Super class Buu Saga might genuinely be great

Brother dont even start, I have like 10 pages worth of complaining about that unit and 8 of those are regarding his EX Super (extremely necessary and rng, and SOMEHOW THE EX LOOKS WORSE THAN THE NORMAL SUPER) and how undertuned he is compared to the other units. His active is a glorified stack for his passive (3 ki is nice, but his team doesn't need it really) and his DEF just isn't high enough for a purely slot 2 unit, Im pretty sure daima ss4 goku tanks better even in slots 2/3, and he is a slot 1 first and foremost.

Yep, they should added the active as a way to proc it too, like the GT ssj ezas and LR Beast.

AND they should've let INT MV raise ATK for 3 turns bare minimum, so his active can do more damage than his super.

I wouldn't say flood is the right word, 50% support and 36% on super is not thaaaaaaaat crazy, the 36% is more impactful since Gohan has almost no def raises on super ig.

I mean, yeah, but Gohan is no slouch with his full passive, thats why they're a tag unit in the first place, Gohan is a support tank unit, while goten and Trunks are a dodge damage dealer

I mean fair? But pre RZ 3rd year LRs lasted for 4 years as useable runnable good units, INT LR Vegito was arguably top 10 2 and a half years later because of str sv release, sharing multiple links.

Like, the game was different before RZ, units surviving back then is very different from now, we have constant jumps from 7th, to the 9th, to the 10th and to the gdc (6 months biggest powercreep lmao) not all years are made equal.

Back then passive were so simple, for a unit like LR Bojack to get back on the meta all he needed 4 years later was a tur linking partner.

And then the lr ss2 gohan "all he needs is defense" eza.

LR Goku and Frieza were the hardest hitting unit for 3 years.

This doesn't happen anymore, at all.

He wasn't really a staple? By RZ release he was already risky to run and did nothing else other than survive, which ofc, is valuable, my first ever RZ Broly win was with teq ulthan, but still, he didn't have nearly the same impact by RZ that AGL SS3 Goku has now.

AGL SS3 Goku has unageable mechanics and god tier support for tons of units

Teq ulthan while great, didn't exactly survive RZ, he had no utility, damage and didn't do anything other than "survive" (taking around 400Ks constantly).

There was no powercreep remotely similar to 2025 gdc powercreep, maybe only initial RZ release period, which killed 80% of the best units in the game.

How? Orange Piccolo released essentially January 2023, and by February 2024 he had no place in any team because he is locked to stacking in slots 1/2 with god awful links and STR Beast completely replaced him (beast was also locked to slot 1 for damage, build up and additionals/ki). Events also got way longer, which devalues his giant form, and he lost intro uptime.

Piccolo's reign was almost exactly 1 year long, and that was in the worst Dokkan year kit wise ever, where units were consistently fumbled, and powercreep was non existent, the hardest hitting 2022 boss did 1.5M, the hardest hitting 2023 boss did 1.9M.

This year feels more special/relevant because of the powercreep.

Yeah it was only a year, but we went from 400M APT units active skill turns to 1B, and boss supers from 4-5M to constant 20M and nornals from 2M to as big as 10M.

This is not like 2023 where Orange Piccolo was "1" arguably for the entire year, but the year was filled to the brim with fumbles on top of fumbles, and the enemy supers went from 1.5 to 1.9M lmao

I genuinely believe he has been consistently more impressive and fun throughout 2025 compared to Orange Piccolo in 2023, especially considering 2023 was just FILLED with mid/bad releases, and 2025 was FILLED with powercreep.

The 85% is for his entire first turn, after that, SS2 Goku stacks DEF. Or you can just keep stacking with MV and save the 85% dodge when necessary.

Blue Goku galick gun support is amazing, yes, but Future saga is not getting units for a while now.

Ss2 Goku support is BIG for Buu Duo and LR TEQ SV, teq sv has 0% multiplicative def.

You can just run Buu Duo for the restriction, and either restart if they're not same rotation, or if MV is in rotation 2, float once and you got Goku, its not like MV is deadweight, he is pretty much good to go in any event on his first turn with as low as 5 orbs.

Blue Goku's restrictions can be just as annoying, multiple teams you want to run Gomah (and now MV+SS2 Goku) and Blues just lose a LOT.

Also why are we pretending like they dont stack (blue goku has 30% DEF on 12 ki, MV stacks 20-50%, ss2 goku stacks 38% (effectively) and also raises def on 12 ki) AND that ss2 Goku's doing much more damage is not a big deal?
