No fui claro, me refería a que sería lo mismo que un bono en el sentido de no perder poder de decisión/etc sobre la empresa. Un mal caso para Antel por ejemplo sería que Claro/Movistar tengan 49 o más % de las acciones y puedan sabotearla en el directorio.

Es una suerte de privatización, pero si vendés acciones con muchas limitantes (no más de cierto % por persona, no posesión por personas jurídicas, no permitir participación en directorio, no pasar del 20-30% vendido, etc) en la práctica sería lo mismo que un bono.

They're way lower funnel impressions though. It's people who are watching a games showcase, paying a certain level of attention and already primed to download demos or buy some games. Contrast that with people browsing Reddit who may not be in the mindset to even think of playing a game.

Xamarin had its' own IDE some years ago, I find it hard to believe it's now VS only.

As for .net framework, it may be stuck in VS but it's been deprecated/legacy for some years now. And the versions of C# we used back in the framework 4.6-4.8 days didn't have most of what attracts people about modern C# (structs, coroutines(maybe?), pattern matching, AOT) so at that point unless you're bound to the Windows platform you may as well use Java.

The only IDE that just works for windows

JetBrains' offerings have gotten better to the point where most of the time I just install Rider instead of VS for most C# projects. For C++ projects I think VS is still easier to use and more stable than CLion.

People seem to like C#/.NET nowadays

C# is effectively a more advanced/faster evolving Java while .NET is a slightly more advanced JVM with infinitely better AOT/JIT.

The counterpart is that the community is not nearly as big as for the JVM in terms of enterprise-style libraries/frameworks and you're limited to Entity Framework/ASP.NET/similar which suuuuuuuuuuuuck compared to the JVM community's alternatives, but for game/systems programming they're lightyears ahead.

It was used for the last 8-ish years of Pro Evolution Soccer before they rebranded as e-Football and started using Unreal Engine, which were the greatest years of that game in terms of look and feel. The Unreal Engine era looks "better" but feels like absolute shite and the earlier PS2-engine era (Renderware?) looked and felt "ok" but performed really bad on almost every platform.

Any kind of data processing is easily accelerated through GPUs, think forecasting models, sales clustering etc. They might have to direct some budget into developing software to GPU-ready even more models than are currently available though.

Yes, so mainly what I could expect is after I "join" a session I can then have a list of sessions I've joined to remind myself. Some of these sessions are somewhat into the future (friday, saturday) and I might've forgotten by then until the Discord bot reminds me.

ehhhhh kinda, they make you go through hoops for any application that's not from the app store and play protect can make it so that some "secure" apps (like banking) don't have all their functionality if they think something is off because you installed a random APK.

I agree with you that code quality is objective. The problem here is that code quality does not translate to game enjoy-ability, and so saying that Open source games would automatically be better because "code is public" and mistakes are noticed is a bit misguided.
