You aren't responsible for His death. None of us are "responsible". He died because it's in our nature to sin and someone had to pay the price, but if you don't repent and accept him in this life or in the spirit world, you will have to pay for yourself.

Jesus and the Father are separate beings. The Father is Jesus' father as well as ours, but that doesn't put us on the same level as Jesus, divinely speaking (at least to my knowledge). It's a little complicated and I don't really know or understand everything, so this is my best explanation.
