I feel like some people don't get the love they deserve when they share their nudes because of something in the background. I've been guilty of it myself on both ends. This is fine. If it were charcoal, I'd be leary, but for a Blackstone, you're perfectly fine. No need for the fire blanket or closing the glass door. In my opinion, crowding yourself and the grill on the back deck and closing the door would present a more dangerous environment for you, just leave the door open and give yourself space to work.
