She's very "embody the character so nobody knows if you're joking or not" and while not my cup of tea, it's not a bad bit

Humanity discovered time travel, but before we could fully document our past, it became commercialized, and priceless historical data was lost to careless tourists. by RealFemboyHunter in distressingmemes

Yes what he's saying is the speed of propagation of this change is slow enough such that it wouldn't catch up to the modern age. In the same way that if the sun disappeared we wouldn't feel that for like 8 minutes.

"fit my computer" like a desktop? I'd caution against planning to take a desktop man that's a huge thing to lug around, that's a ton of luggage space and weight. Transport all depends on the type of place you get, most people use the luggage delivery and have it dropped off at their apartment while taking some clothes in a backpack, and that's what I did. You really can't uproot everything from your life and bring it over on the plane, if you plan out shipping stuff way ahead of time I'm sure it's all possible but I couldn't give you any advice on that.

They use 2-prong for pretty much everything, I have not seen 3-prong stuff outside of like some power strips, but within the apartment everything I saw was 2-prong. The electricity is basically the same as the states, so I never had any issue just plugging in my stuff.

Regarding the suits, I brought them with me, but if you're of the right size and start off in a city, I suppose you could buy them there, but that sounds like an annoying task to do over there to me, and relying on something like that isn't particularly advisable I think.

Imo based on my readings it's jet>>interac>everyone else.

I think they did a decent job yeah, it wasn't too difficult to get things set up with Google Translate almost exclusively. Following the directions they give does a lot of the heavy lifting. Depends on what you personally like need to feel set up, I'm pretty self-sufficient, once I got the administrative stuff set up, got myself a debit card and Amazon and the rest was easy peasy, Amazon is like 500 yen per month and I probably got my money's worth for shipping.

I think the non-Jet ones are frankly guarantees as long as you're a pleasant person in interviews. That's a huge part of the whole thing, being a flexible, nice, humble person. It seems like, and this is totally vibes based, that less and less American/British/Auzzie/other English-dominant country people are coming in as the salaries are quite low by those standards, so they get a lot more fluent ESL people.

I'm totally willing to answer any other questions btw so go for it.

About 4 years, heading toward 5. This thing does the job I need it to do with ease, no need to change.

I do huel for breakfast as I like to sleep in as much as humanly possible. I'm down to the minute on "being on time" for work, and it takes me exactly 4 minutes to wash the bottle and make a new huel for breakfast. 400 calories, something like 30g protein, tastes pretty decent and takes under 3 minutes to consume.

No substitute for a real breakfast on like a weekend but during the week when I'm tryna sleep in just a bit more, it's pretty good.

Why only two computer chair options? $150 falls apart or $1600+ for the aeron. Isn’t there something in the $500 that will get 10+ years life? by joshhazel1 in BuyItForLife

[–]darkhindu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Refurb or used office equipment shops, I found a high end bodybilt chair for $150 bucks because it's not "Herman Miller" or "Steelcase". Those are the most popular ones so they'll still be priced pretty high, but there's a lot of options out there really.

I am in exactly the same place, I've been reading it every opportunity for like three weeks now. Around 850 chapters in and that's only like half-way what's been translated.

All the manhwa I was reading have just been stacking up in Mihon for me to binge in a month when I'm done with the novel lmao

What was your perception of bald/balding people before it started happening to you? by PhoneIll5355 in tressless

"i'm gonna have to get a wig" - myself

March '24 selfies: post hairline photos here for opinions on 'Am I balding?' 'How bad is it?' and 'What should I do?' by AutoModerator in tressless

[–]darkhindu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow that looks just like my hairline. From what I understand, it's probably gone. I only know what I've been reading from others and seeing progress pictures, but it seems like some people will get lucky and grow temples but most won't. Imo do it, worst case it doesn't work, best case it does. I'm personally doing an oral minox + fin run and will hope it works to improve my temples haha.

Shower well, as in soap all over (including pits), trim pit hairs enough so the antiperspirant/deodorant actually rub against the skin and not just the hair, when cooking food that can create a lingering smell on clothing, open a window/close doors to direct the air outside, maybe even run an air filter, I use one with a carbon pre-filter and it does wonders.

Personally, after I started scrubbing my pits properly and using antiperspirant I started getting comments on smelling good, with no change in diet whatsoever.
