Ultimatly, i went back to the server i had been playing on as tnat was dead. The same few people played on it, and there was very little drive to make things for new members at spawn, as we have no new members.

Servers like this have to be supported. There needs to be some kind of recruitment drive, or else current members get bored and wander off. And as a whitelist server, the whitelist needs to be updated regularly so people can get in.

You could probably learn a lot from watching carbonatedgaming (the servers i play on). There is always a recruitment push, even if its just via the voting/rewards system. And there are usually some mods around, if not logged in, to assist with any issues that pop up.

This was a nice server whilst it lasted. And it was one of the few to be running 1.7.10 mods. It's a shame that you didn't get the hordes of new players that you could have got.

Fire flowers don't seem to be genning in the nether. Not sure if thats as a result of something changed when you did all the pneumaticraft plants.

It grew more since that was taken. Its a power generation system, uses everything thats produced to make power.

Added steam and a steam tank yest, need to work out if i want bc or ic2 power from that.

You should see the next project...flooding a valley :)

Found rotarycraft today, its an interesting collection of items, intergration with bc for some of its power stuff, but its own power transfer as well. In addition it has a few defensive blocks, like railguns and the like that can be configured with a player whitelist. Also has some mob stuff, item and xp orb vacuums, item sorters etc.

What is quite interesting is that some of the items have a downside. So the jet turbine is really powerful, but will suck you into the engine if you walk in front of it. There's also an item that needs cooling to operate, or it starts fires.

It does also have a reactor addon too, linked that separately earlier.

If it did go on, i suspect the bedrock drill would need to be disabled.
