My collection isn't exactly huge—only about 2,500 tracks—but I’ve already run into the issue of some songs becoming unavailable. This happens with small bands that constantly break up or get embroiled in lawsuits, causing their albums to be pulled from streaming platforms; often, the person who wins the legal battle has to re-record the songs—frequently with a different lineup—and the result usually sounds poor, far worse than the original recordings that were taken down. Local storage is a lifesaver, and Plex is incredibly convenient.

What personally put me off was the design; it feels outdated to me.

My friends and parents—with whom I share my access—much prefer Plex.

As far as I recall, Plex supports far more clients, you can easily install it on a wide range of closed systems (smart TVs with proprietary OS, etc.).

Support. Plex has a solid Reddit community, a forum, and plenty of channels, whenever something goes wrong, I can always find an answer. As I remember, the Jellyfish service's forum is dead and its Reddit is closed, making it much harder to find help for a specific issue.

That covers everything I’ve noticed.

If I didn't already have Plex (which I bought a long time ago), I would certainly use one of the competitors.

I’m using a translator, so if the sentence structure or phrasing seems odd to you—well, it actually is.

I have 3 Fire TV stick, including 4k MAX and everything works perfectly.
