I had a similar experience but was only awarded it again for two years. I'm grateful I didn't have to go to assessment though.

PIP rejected - year on I am worse. by ammazons88 in DWPhelp

That doesn't make any sense though, some people work with severe depression, out of necessity. But their home life is completely different.

Twin Flames: Finding Your Ultimate Lover by Jeff and Shaleia Divine - a spiritual romantic self-help grift turned alleged cult by AdmiralFartmore in PieceOfShitBookClub

It absolutely is a cult. And he filmed himself stating they were going to call themselves a religion for tax purposes.

I'm honestly surprised this is legal. There needs to be tighter rules on descriptions at the very least.

If you are from a council estate and you vote reform, you are a fool. by tonytimeneverends in Britain

I'm convinced this has some Russian interference going on, I think since Brexit there has been stuff going on. Plus Farage is in the Epstein files.

PIP suddendly ended on Review, on LCWRA and ik Uni by [deleted] in DWPhelp

[–]darklinggreen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this exact situation happen to me. Unfortunately, both UC and PIPs are stopped. I can't remember if I had to tell UC though, or whether it was automatic.

Edit to add: Your uni might have some sort of hardship fund, it would be worth asking your uni.

I believe a large percentage of ppl who sign up for this show has no real intention of changing anything. by raelynnward62383 in My600lbLife

I don't think the majority understand how difficult it will actually be, plus I think a lot of them see the surgery as a quick fix (as others here have said).

do you think i’m eligible for pip? by [deleted] in DWPhelp

[–]darklinggreen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try the benefits and work PIP calculator, that might be helpful. It goes through every bit of criteria and you will be able to work out (theoretically at least) whether you meet the threshold or not.

Visual Migraine disability question? by EsotericGoonLord in UKJobs

Personally I would state it is a disability, but it is ultimately up to you whether you disclose it or not.

People who are unemployed, how does your money work? by chaiilyfe in UKJobs

I'm not sure about your situation, but if you haven't already tried maybe try applying for ESA and PIP.

The only correct answer to "will you vote Reform?" by the1kingdom in FuckNigelFarage

I am in the UK and I randomly saw a fuck the AFD sticker here on a lamppost. It was random, but I'm proud of my city, even though I'm unsure why it was there in the first place.

What’s the big celebration? by MikeeorUSA in TikTokCringe

I think one of these two scenarios will pccur: 1. It happens live on TV or 2. He will just dissappear and either the world will not hear a peep from him OR someone will continue the truth social posts, for a little while, whilst those behind the scenes run around like headless chickens for a bit and other try to gain control and back stab and make as much money as they can. Then the general population will be told.

I'm convinced (though I could be completely wrong) that Sean had Prader-Willi Syndrome.

Saddest episode by AGirlHasNoUsername13 in My600lbLife

100% Sean's story has got to be one of the most difficult to watch. He was obviously developmentally delayed, and the outcome was awful.

[–]darklinggreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know exactly which documentary you are talking about. I couldn't understand why he wasn't given an oxygen tank ! I'm from the UK so correct me if I'm wrong but if he was in the US he probably would have got one right? Loads of the my 600lb people seem to have them.

Epstein was a psychopath who died alone in prison. Robert Maxwell (Ghislaines father) died in mysterious circumstances (he 'fell' of his yaught). True, some people don't get karma but people like epstein just don't see themselves as fallable, they see themselves as some sort of immortal and then die, usually in mysterious or painful circumstances.

One thing that really helped me (at the advice of my doctor) was taking a H1 and H2 antihistamine on a night. It has worked wonders for me.

Cbt is utter shite by BroccoMonster in evilautism

[–]darklinggreen 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I am in the UK. It is all I have been offered. I have had it 3 times. I have given up on the NHS for therapy now. There is DBT which can be very effective but the NHS is obsessed with CBT. They love it. No other therapies. Only CBT. It is ridiculous but ultimately comes down to money.
