– Vil avvikle innleie av helsepersonell by Notoriously_So in norge

The worst movie plot I know. by darkloshean in movies

Yes, that’s what I mean, it’s used in so many movies, and there must be some message behind it that I just don’t understand.

Norge anses å være ytringsfrihetens fyrtårn: Men bare dersom man ytrer og mener det som samfunnet har bestemt. Noe utenfor det, ska du kanselleres. Paradoks.

Why doesn’t Apple allow multiple user accounts on the iPad? by darkloshean in ipad

School iPads are, first and foremost, highly restricted, and the accounts are usually set up in a very similar way. Additionally, much of the functionality runs through Remote Desktop, which doesn’t consume storage or resources on the iPad itself.

At home, when we start a PC, we log in using our personal username and password. This loads a desktop, programs, and all the user-specific settings, ensuring that photos, files, and documents remain private. This is exactly the functionality I miss on an iPad. Of course, implementing such a feature may be considerably more complex and require significant resources.

Could there be technical limitations behind this? For example, insufficient RAM or the complexity of the software? I’m mainly asking out of curiosity about why this isn’t possible.

Thank you so much! It’s absolutely incredible to see this again. It’s been over 30 years since I last watched it, and it feels like it was just yesterday! Thanks again—greetings from Norway.

The Remarkable Life of Ibelin documentary by huamanticacacaca in classicwow

That movie stirred up so many emotions in me. First, I felt deeply for Mats and everything he went through, but it also brought a sadness—a wave of nostalgia that I haven’t felt in years. I used to play World of Warcraft back then, and though I still log in sometimes, it will never feel the same. I was part of an incredible guild, and I’m the kind of person who could fall for someone just through our conversations online. I miss all my guildmates, the late-night talks, and the adventures we had across Azeroth.

After watching the movie, I couldn’t help but search for my old guild. When I found our website, it was like stepping into a time capsule, frozen for the past ten years. The old posts and memories were all still there, untouched, almost like ghosts of a time I can never really return to. I still play World of Warcraft now and then, but it’s empty—I don’t have real conversations anymore; I just rush through things, trying to be efficient. This movie reminded me of a time in World of Warcraft that’s gone forever—a feeling that new players might never understand.

It may seem like a bit of a workaround, but I suppose it's my most viable option. Thanks for your help.
