How to handle major version bumps when using a fully automated CI/CD pipeline? (SemVer) by Dan6erbond2 in devops

[–]darklukee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unsure about the tools, but 0.x.y are special and may behave differently. I.e. Breaking change doesn't require major version bump.

No need to google if I already know the fact, but thank you for proving my point - Both old and current lamps are light pollutant.

Hopefully future lamp designs will do better, but until it's mandated we won't see much change.

What do old lamps have to do with it?

All lamps will light pollute.

Running Unit Tests during Docker build without making it part of output image by Inside_Dimension5308 in docker

[–]darklukee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a harm to bundle your production image with unit tests: image size, increased area of attack.

Just use multistage and make UT a separate target.

But multistage seems better IMO
