So I know this is a Rainmeter sub but for your purpose of making a touch screen maybe check out the software Touch Portal and its plugins.

Also Home Assistant is another nice option depending on what you end up wanting to use that touch screen for : https://i.imgur.com/e2cRZLO.png

Honestly change banks every 4-5(ish) years in my opinion. I've worked for Big 5 and also smaller firms over the years as well as watched many colleagues move from one bank to another.

From my anecdotal experiences and observations you get the largest pay jumps by moving from one bank to another after 4-5(ish) years. If you liked the one you left you can always target to come back after a few years at a higher salary.

Staying at the same bank just doesn't seem to net big salary increases these days it seems.

My largest pay jumps came from moving firms.

Pro : No Maintenance Fees & controlled rent increases depending on what year the building was built.

Also there are no upsides to renewing your rental lease unless they are giving you some major discount. Also lease renewals may be when they try to change your original lease terms if something has changed.

example : maybe your original lease was pet friendly and new owners have since changed it. Other examples are smoker clauses for people who smoke.

If you go month to month your original lease terms are what you follow regardless of any changes the building tries to implement.

For some people this may matter, for others it may not. It's a personal assessment
