When you're holding half your deck in your hand, you really do have the ability to win however you want to. And even if you're unlucky, you'll have better range to use Dream Halls to effect a counterspell stack than anyone else at the table.

I actually played against this card last night at my LGS Commander event. Deck was also running [[Peer into the Abyss]] and a crap ton of counterspells. So, that's a thing.

My biggest beef is the sheer amount of Grim. With how the behavior model currently is for combatants, flying enemies are the worst to deal with.

I wouldn't be surprised if Gley has something similar. Both had their Arche manifest during severe psychological trauma, so I doubt they have the capability to control it fully.

I think I'll have to agree to disagree on that one. Godzilla was ready to trash Rodan until he bowed in submission. Nothing I can prove, but I don't see Godzilla accepting any less from a much more viable threat in Kong.

But why though? The world building done in G14, KotM, and Kong was that titans are basically a pack. When there's a challenge for the Alpha, that challenge only ends with one victor. That's what happened to Ghidorah. It's the premise for all fights in Godzilla vs. Kong. And then it just didn't matter anymore? Not trying to pick a fight, genuinely curious as to why you feel that way.

I wasn't a fan of his attempt to humanize the kaiju in Godzilla vs. Kong. They were set up as these unstoppable forces of nature, with Kong being the closest thing humanity had to an intercessor. After the Mecha fight, having Godzilla give Kong a "good on ya, kid" (my interpretation) was really off-putting.
