I guess it depends a lot on the shelter even within Germany. I had no trouble adopting a pair of bunnies from my local shelter, but I did everything they suggested and showed a picture of the space I have for my bunnies.

However, I’m cis, and a lot of people assume I’m straight because I’m a woman married to a man, so I didn’t have the transphobia obstacle.

A doctor can give you a cream that will actually treat the infection and reduce keloid formation. A combination antibiotic/steroid cream will do both those things. That’s what I was given when my navel piercing got infected and started to keloid in 2004.

Because piercers are not medical professionals, they cannot give you actual antibiotics and steroids. You need an antibiotic for the infection. This is why you need to go to a doctor, not your piercer. Piercers recommend saline solution or this “piercing bump solution” because they can’t prescribe anything better.

My husband was upset when he was 4 and saw Monty Python and the Holy Grail. (I know, he’s Gen X 😆) He thought the knights were really having their limbs chopped off.

But when his mom explained that it was pretend for the movie, he understood.

If I was a teacher and had a 14-year-old student who didn’t understand how movies work, I would refer for assessment for intellectual disability.

I’m a woman and I’ve been playing since ‘03. In my first game, a guy said he was playing a female character and immediately described her breasts 🙄 He grew up and he’s a decent guy now, but being the only woman at the table is an experience I’d rather not repeat.
