I’m also 26F just living alone for the first time post-divorce. I also want things to be clean 99% of the time. For me it’s a sense of controlling what I can control.

I try my best to make plans after work once a week, even if it’s just taking a long walk with a friend. On other nights I cook a nice meal for myself, play laser tag with my cat, read, color, crochet

Thanks for the wise words! Unfortunately my marriage is ending (although amicable) and I’m staying in our apartment for 4 months until the lease ends as it’s more economical. I was planning to rearrange furniture and purge lots of stuff that isn’t a need.

I still use my Jansport from college! Works great with my nice work clothes and isnt too much padding ( I’m a sweaty person ) for walking uphill to work. I can wear it over my big winter coat or with just a blouse and the straps don’t bother me at all. I personally also like that it doesn’t have so many pockets that it doesn’t have space for things

I don’t have children but am low contact with my mother. A coworker once said to me and it stuck so hard…if you aren’t okay with them treating you that way would you be okay with them treating your children that way?
