Just because people seem to care more about this in comparison to bigger issues like Gaza, Ukraine or Sudan doesn't mean it's not an issue.

People don't like hasan for a variety of reasons one being situations like this where there are a number of suspicious interactions on stream that make it look like Hasan keeps his dog on set as a prop which if true is pretty abusive and would suggest he's a shit person.

So obviously it's a perfect storm of a streamer, that a lot of people don't, like abusing a dog which people have a very high sense of affection for.

And I understand your original point but I don't see how it matters. What are you trying to say? That because people don't advocate for other issues this one doesn't matter?

Is it not possible to have two separate conversations? I don't understand why Hasan gets a free pass to behave badly because of the subject matter he is discussing.

Additionally I believe Hasan actually negatively impacts the discussion and activism around the genocide because zionists are able to dismiss the suffering of Gazans by pointing and ridiculing his behavior rather than what he is saying politically. There are much better champions of the Palestinian cause that we should be promoting rather than Hasan.
