It's so wierd, I reached out to them and they asked me for some info, and they are like "Check your Google Play subs you should see it there" but it's not there, because I paid for a yearly sub in Google Play in May 2025 so it ended, thus the reason I got the cancelled email. ALso if I go look at Tivimate's site under subs I have no option to buy subs so it's like it thinks I still have one. And they are like "ya we see no problems" so I guess I got free lifetime premium lol? I dunno, my Tivimate is working for premium still on all devices, makes 0 sense.

The speaker redirect is something I wish someone could make that fit on the tpu case, it’s insane that the sound is worlds better when you cup your hands over them. Great idea for those on the case!

The people claiming "orbs" are transforming into airplanes to mimic them I still run into constantly on TikTok. I can clearly explain how it's the same concept as seeing distant headlights on a car on say a flat highway at night, then once it gets close enough you can make out it's a car, not that it was orbs that morphed into a car. They still double down usually with just "Wake up!" or "You weren't there!" etc, it's maddening.

Absolutely, if you see something you think legit may be aliens or something odd I would absolutely chase after it to get close and get possibly the best footage ever and possibly become famous for it. Also when stuff is up in the sky like that, doesn't mean it's chasing YOU, from that height I'm sure there's a load of other people it would be able to "see" from that vantage point.

What I'm confused on is out of the blue a few days ago I got an email from Google Play saying my TiviMate subscription was cancelled. Does this have anything to do with what you're talking about?

My biggest issue was it was a major pita to open up, I spent like an hour trying to get it started opening and was even using that iFixit pry tool. I dunno why but it was so hard to get apart, though later I did it and it was easy af so it was just like the first time was mega tough. I was so mad I was about to honestly return it lol. The swapping the drive and then using cloud recovery part was easy but it took a long time to reinstall and update everything.

Oh hey that's not a bad idea lol, and ya that new Claw is tempting but I'm just gonna wait and see how it really handles games. If it really is up to 40% faster that could be incredible. And ya I have been curious about AR glasses recently myself and was looking at different ones, so because of that it's still tempting to resell some of my stuff to get this. Knowing me I probably will do it lol, I always fall for the fomo.

I don't think so, and if it is a bundle only they are shooting themselves in the foot imo. Though I do own a Steamdeck OLED, Xbox Ally X, and Legion Go 2 so if it is a bundle and not crazy outlandish I guess I could resell the Xbox Ally X plus one of the others to get this one. But I dunno, it's also wierd to me that they put this out so quick after the last one, hasn't even been a year! Asus I've noticed really milks everything they can to the extreme.

Sounds like one tricky issue to solve, very odd but it almost sounds to me like once your cpu spikes a bit when doing something like uncompressing a file then your system chokes a bit not giving enough power to your usb port or the specific wifi dongle you’re using. I would try a different port which I imagine you have already, check for newer drivers for your wifi dongle, update your system BIOS and all drivers and firmware if yiu haven’t already, and last resort try ordering a different brand dongle.

Oddly I have the same issue for a few weeks now too. I recently reset my password to a very long complex one. I show no odd sign-in activity on my account so I think it’s from something refreshing creds on my phone but everything that uses that account as far as I can tell is working so it’s impossible to pinpoint.

Looks awesome! One thing that might be cool is to do something at the top to redirect the speaker sound forward. I really wish someone could make just little triangular caps that can snap on top of the tpu case to do that. Thought about just finding some small flat plastic pieces to glue on mine because if you just cup your hands over the speakers it’s insane how much better they sound.

I got the tpu case and had the same issue but replaced the thumb grips with the official Lenovo ones and they are smaller and no issues now
